Governance

Hedera is governed by a Governing Council of up to 39 global organizations including Google, IBM, Ubisoft, Mondelēz International, LG, and more.
The Council is designed to include 39 members, but not all seats are currently filled — there are 32 active members today.
Council members manage software updates, treasury, and network policy to ensure stability and decentralization.
